VISION - February 2013

Dear VISION members,

Hope all are fine and doing good. First of all, our condolences to the people who lost their lives in Hyderabad bomb blasts and wishing the survivors for speedy recovery. Our VISION month updates are as follows.

In this month also, we have given 10 bit banks for a government school library. So in total we have given 85 books for 3 schools (including last month) which will be available for students in the school library.

For this month, We have received Rs.27,767/- as total contribution towards VISION.  So in total, we had Rs.1,06,143/- including previous month balance amount of Rs.78, 376/- . From this money, we have contributed for the below requirements.

1) Paid Rs.4,000/- as college fees for Hussain basha, studying Inter 1st year. His father was expired and mother works for daily wages.

2) Paid Rs.2,350/- as college fees towards a student named Shaheen, studying Degree 2nd year. Her father works in a tea hotel for daily wages.

3) Paid Rs.2,000/-  as college fees towards a student named Anusha, studying Inter 2nd year. Her father was expired and her mother works in a super market.

4) Paid Rs.1,850/-  as college fees towards a student named Mumtaj, studying Degree 2nd year.  Her parents are daily wage earners.

5) Paid Rs. 1, 500/- as school fees for Fayaz, studying 2nd class. His father was expired and mother is a farm worker.

6) Paid Rs.1,500/-  as school fees for Mali Basha, studying 7th class. His father was expired and mother is a farm worker.

7) Paid Rs.1,500/-  as college fees for Lalitha Tulasi, studying Degree 2nd year. Her father was expired and   don't have any siblings.

8) Paid Rs.1,000/-  as college fees towards a student named Ansar, studying Inter 2nd year. His father is a farm worker.

9) Contributed Rs.1,500/- towards medical expenses for a lady. She is doing good for a couple of days. Her husband works in a temple.

10) With Rs.580/-, contributed bit banks for a government school library, benefits 10th class students.

11) With Rs.186/- , contributed medicine to a old man begging near DLF IT park.

12) With Rs.100/- , given a nighty for mentally retarded woman.

So in total, we have contributed Rs.18,066/- for the above noble causes. We had Rs.88,077/- as balance in VISION.

Next Month Activities


1)  Received a health request for Sunitha, 8 years old, suffering from congenital heart defect. She is in CARE, Banajara Hills. Her father Narsimha , a resident of east godavari dist, Andhra Pradesh, is a daily wage labourer whose monthly income is very less and he is not able to support the treatment cost which is approx. Rs. 3,20,000/-.

2) Eye donation wall posts and camp.

3) Planning to start polytechnic coaching centre for governments school students which helps for their competitive exams.This will run after ssc exams.  We got accommodation in a government school.

4) We are Planning to distribute notebooks and stationary to some selected government schools in the month of June. 

5) Night dress for Mentally Retarded woman.
