VISION - JUNE 2011

Hi friends,

Hope everyone is doing well. We would like to say “Many Thanks!!!” to everyone for your valuable contribution. This month, we contributed mostly towards paying school/college fees for many poor students, who show more dedication towards their studies. Please find below the contribution details for this month.

Our total contribution on behalf of VISION is Rs.18,950/-. So in total, we had Rs.33,724/- which includes previous month balance of Rs.14,774/-. From this, we contributed for the below requirements.

1) Paid Rs.6,000/- towards college fees for Sai. He joined degree 1st year with the helping hand from VISION. His father was late. He and his mother are working for their daily expenses.

2)Contributed Rs.4,100/- towards school uniforms for students, who are studying in a government school.

3) From Rs.4,000/-, paid Rs. 2,000/- towards school fees for Bharat and Rs.2,000/- towards school fees for Paramesh. Bharat and Paramesh are studying 5th and 8th classes respectively. Their father is a tailor who do tailoring in his home itself.

4) From Rs.3,000/-, paid Rs.1,500/- towards school fees for Rajeswari and Rs.1,500/- towards school fees for Sai Teja. Rajeswari and Sai Teja are studying 9th and 7th classes respectively. Their father does not have hand but still he is working in a steel factory for monthly wages.

5) Paid Rs.2,500/- towards school fees for Dhanush. He is studying UKG. His father passed away in the sleep due to heart attack. His mother also does not have her parents. Now she is running a small shop and earning for their monthly expenses which her husband left for them.

6) Contributed Rs.2,000/- to Keerthana for her medical expenses from VISION. This baby girl is 15 months old and suffering from Sensory Neural Hearing Loss. She will benefit from a cochlear Implant. The rough estimation for the implant, surgery, and rehabilitation cost is around Rs.7 lakhs for One ear.

7) Paid Rs.2,000/- towards college fees(Rs.1,500/-) and books expenses(Rs.500/-) for Parimala. She joined degree 1st year. Her father is working for monthly wages in retail shop.

8) Paid Rs.2,000/- towards school fees for Shekshavali. He is studying 10th class. His father sells vegetables on roads to earn their livelihood.

9) Paid Rs.1,500/- towards school fees for Hareesha. She is studying 1st class. Her father works for monthly wages in general stores.

10) Paid Rs.1,000/- towards books and fees for Sarath kumar, studying Inter 2nd year. His father left the family long back. His mother is working for monthly wages and earning money for their daily expenses.

11) Paid Rs.1,000/- towards college fees for Lalitha Rani. She joined degree 1st year. Her father passed away at the time of her final exams. She missed one subject and written supplementary and passed the exam. Now she is willing to continue her studies. She don’t have any financial back up. With the help of VISION, she started again her educational career.

12) Paid Rs.500/- towards books and fees for Sumanjali, studying Inter 1st year. Her father is working in a general stores for monthly wages. She scored 408/600 marks in SSC from government school.

13) Paid Rs.500/- towards books expenses for Surendra, studying Inter 1st year. His father left their family long time back. His mother is working in coffee works shop for monthly wages.

14)With Rs.105/-, we contributed insulin injection to Masthan Vali who is studying 10th class in the Municipal high school. He is having sugar which can be controlled only by insulin injection. His is around 14 years old. Hope many of you know, when the sugar patients use insulin. That is the last stage which can’t be controlled by tablets. He will carry insulin injection and syringe in his pocket wherever he go. Even his father was late and his mother is working in few houses and earning money for their daily expenses.

In total, we have contributed Rs.30,205/- and the remaining balance amount for this month is Rs.3,519/-

We are yet to receive the medicine receipt for Masthan Vali, fees receipt for Hareesha, Lalitha Rani and ThankQ letter from Chinmaya Mission school. We will share you the same once we receive it.

Next Month Activities:

1) We are planning to pay school/college fees for the below students in July-2011. These students are from backward areas and their parents are daily wage earners. Their parents are not educated and not aware of the importance of education. We are guiding their children and helping them in continuing their studies which helps them to reach till graduation. We already paid a part of fees for few below students (highlighted background) in the last month. We are yet to pay the remaining amount in the current or upcoming months.

VISION - May 2011

Hi friends,

For this month our total contribution on behalf of VISION is Rs. 10,050/-. So in total, we had Rs.28,779/- which includes previous month balance of Rs.18,729/-. We have contributed part of our valuable contribution for below activities.

1) Contributed Rs.3,000/- towards a baby boy for his kidney surgery. Boy was born just 20 days back and is suffering from kidney problem. His father is working for monthly wages in a press and came from a middle class family. The total expenses are expected more than 1 lakh.

2) Paid Rs.3,000/- as college fees for Mumtaj, joining Degree 1st year. Her parents are working for daily wages.

3) Paid Rs.2,900/- as school fees for a student named Dhanush Kumar, studying LKG. His mother is working as house maid and his father is stonemason.

4) Contributed Rs.2,000/- to Thriveni for her medical expenses. Her husband is working in Matrix labs as an office boy in Hyderabad. She got fits and it affected the brain. They don’t have any financial back up, so we contributed for her medical expenses.

5) Paid Rs. 1,500/- as college fees for Shaheen, joining Degree 1st year. His father is working as a daily labor in tea shop.

6) Paid Rs.1,500/- as college fees for Anees, joining Intermediate 1st year. His father is working as a daily labor in a tea shop.

Next Month Activities:

1) We are planning to pay school/college fees for below students in the June month. These students are from backward areas and their parents are daily wage earners. Their parents are not educated and not aware of the importance of education. We are guiding their children and helping them in continuing their studies. 2) Planning to contribute School uniforms(Only shirt cloth) to 50 students studying from 1st class to 5th class in a Government school in June. Few donors have contributed the cloth(pant cloth).
